You want a buffet review roundup in Kissimmee, and I respect the commitment. Between the flea-market chaos of China A Buffet and the conveyor-belt cat-robot theater of U & Me Revolving Hot Pot, this town has a strange talent for turning lunch into a theme park.

I have personally survived El Palacio’s black chicken and also demolished a full crab leg haul at Boston Lobster Feast, so consider my credentials established. This list separates the aquarium gravel from the good stuff.

Consider it your survival guide.

Highlights
Skip this buffet entirely
Old rice, black chicken
Churros as blunt weapons
Waiters nice, food sad
One star, maybe poisoning

Let's get this over with. El Palacio Buffet is a crime scene, and the victim is your appetite. The rice had the texture of aquarium gravel. The chicken was black, like it had been through a fire and lost. I grabbed a churro for dessert and nearly broke a tooth; it's a blunt weapon disguised as pastry. The waiters were genuinely nice, which made the whole thing sadder. I ate enough to survive, paid, and left with a stomach ache and a new appreciation for my own cooking. One star, and that's generous. Skip this place entirely unless you're suicidal or a food critic with a death wish.

Conveyor-belt veggie delivery system
Cat robots bring desserts
Fresh sliced lamb and beef
Pork bone broth standout
Worth every penny spent

U & Me Revolving Hot Pot is a goddamn theme park for your stomach. A conveyor belt shuffles fresh veggies past your table, and cat robots deliver desserts with a mechanical meow. It's absurd, and I loved every second. The sliced lamb and beef were fresh, not the frozen hockey pucks you get elsewhere. The pork bone broth was the star, rich and savory enough to make you forget the robots exist. It's interactive, it's fun, and the food delivers. Worth every penny, which is rare for a gimmick place. I left stuffed, entertained, and plotting my next visit.

Clean and friendly service
Great value for buffet price

Kizuna Asian Buffet & Sushi is the dependable friend you call when you want a lot of food and zero surprises. The sushi selection was extensive, and the seafood was fresh, which is rare at a buffet. Nothing sat under a heat lamp too long; the hot food was actually hot. The place was clean, and the staff were friendly without hovering. For the price, it's a solid value, especially if you're a sushi fiend. I piled my plate high, ate myself stupid, and didn't regret a single bite. It's not the most exciting buffet in town, but it doesn't need to be. It just works, and that's worth something.

A la carte alternatives
Worth every dollar

Boston Lobster Feast is the big leagues. The seafood selection is massive, and the quality matches the quantity. The crab legs were sweet, the shrimp were firm, and the oysters were cold. Service was attentive, which is a miracle at a place this size. Even the non-seafood options don't feel like an afterthought; the fried chicken was surprisingly good. It's pricier than your average buffet, but you're paying for real seafood, not the frozen stuff. If you want to splurge, this is the place. Just bring a bib and a serious appetite. I left smelling like the ocean and feeling like I won the lottery. Worth every dollar.

Highlights
Huge sashimi and sushi selection
Fresh sweets in wide variety
Attentive service for a buffet
Reasonable pricing for the options

Ichiban Buffet is a sushi lover's paradise, and I say that without hyperbole. The sashimi was fresh, and the selection was huge, with everything from salmon to tuna to things I couldn't name. The sweets were also a cut above, with a wide variety that didn't taste like cardboard. Service was attentive for a buffet, which is rare; they cleared dishes and refilled drinks without being asked. The price was reasonable for the sheer volume of options. It's not the cheapest place, but you're paying for quality. I ate more raw fish than I thought humanly possible and still wanted more. If you're a sushi fan, this is your spot.

Highlights
Freshly cooked, real chicken
Huge portions, low price
Sweet, attentive service
Perfectly spiced orange chicken
Lively flea market setting

China A Buffet is a chaotic, wonderful mess. The setting is a flea market, and the food is surprisingly good. The chicken is real, freshly cooked, and not some processed blob. The orange chicken was perfectly spiced, with a nice kick. Portions were huge, and the price was low, which is a dangerous combo. The service was sweet and attentive, which is unexpected given the crowd. It's not fancy, and the ambiance is more 'adventure' than 'fine dining,' but that's part of the charm. I ate until I couldn't move and still felt like I got a bargain. If you're not afraid of a little chaos, this place delivers.

Great value for variety

Osaka Bay Buffet is a jack-of-all-trades, and somehow, it masters them all. The sushi was fresh, and the pho was a surprise winner, rich and comforting. The made-to-order hibachi grill was a highlight; you pick your ingredients, and they cook it right in front of you. The seafood selection was extensive, from crab to shrimp to mussels. Service was quick and attentive, which is rare at a place with this much variety. For the price, the value is unbeatable. I had sushi, pho, hibachi, and seafood in one sitting, and none of it disappointed. If you can't decide what you want, this is the place to go. Just bring a Stretch Armstrong stomach.

Best sorullos in town
Attentive waitress, fair prices
Worth a second chance

El Palacio Buffet Kissimmee is proof that second chances matter. I was prepared for a disaster based on the other location, but this one was completely different. The place was clean, the staff were friendly, and the food was actually delicious. The sorullos were the standout, crispy on the outside and soft inside, the best I've had in town. The waitress was attentive and the prices were fair. It's the same name, but a world apart. I left with a full stomach and a new respect for the brand. If you've been burned by the other one, give this location a try. It might just surprise you, like it did me.

Excellent service and hibachi

Crazy Buffet lives up to its name, and I mean that as a compliment. The seafood was fresh, especially the crab legs, which were sweet and meaty. The atmosphere was clean and family-friendly, not the usual buffet chaos. For twenty bucks, the value is excellent, especially for dinner. The variety was unique, with dishes you don't see at every buffet. Service was excellent, and the hibachi grill was a nice touch. I didn't find anything crazy in a bad way; it was all just good. If you want a solid, affordable seafood buffet without the pretension, this is your spot. I left stuffed and satisfied, already planning my next visit.

Buffet City in Saint Cloud is a seafood lover's bargain. The all-you-can-eat price is reasonable, and the seafood was fresh and plentiful. The variety changes daily, so you won't get bored even if you visit often. The room was clean, and the service was solid, with quick drink refills. What impressed me most was that lunch matched dinner in quality; that's rare. The food was hot, the selection was broad, and the price was right. Bring an empty stomach because this place will test your limits. I ate more crab legs than I'd admit in polite company and still wanted more. If you're near Saint Cloud, this is a must. Just pace yourself.

Clean, kind, tasty takeout

New York-style Chinese flavors
Attentive staff, table service
Worth returning for more

Great Wok is exactly what it sounds like, assuming your definition of great is 'clean, kind, and surprisingly tasty.' This isn't a buffet, but it belongs on the list because it does Chinese right. The fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and somehow not greasy. The flavors lean New York-style, which means bold and unapologetic. The staff were attentive, even offering table service for a takeout joint. It's not fancy, but it doesn't need to be. I ordered, ate, and immediately planned a return trip. For a quick, satisfying fix, this place punches above its weight. No conveyor belts, no robots, just solid food.

Highlights
Fresh food, kind staff
Unbeatable prices, $15 each
Hot, tasty dinner portions
Family-owned, attentive service

Mei Asian Buffet is the quiet winner in Kissimmee. For fifteen bucks each, my companion and I ate like kings. The food was fresh, which is the bare minimum, but they exceeded it. Dinner portions were hot and flavorful, not the lukewarm sadness you find at other spots. The staff were kind, and the family-owned vibe showed in the service; they actually checked on us. It's not the biggest buffet, but it doesn't need to be. The price is unbeatable, and the quality holds up. If you want a no-nonsense, solid Chinese buffet without the theatrics, this is your place. I left full, happy, and already planning the next trip.
